Posted: I just started to do poi and i don't understand how people are able to move so much when they're doing the weave. I always end up standing in place. Could someone tell me how this is done?

Posted: Just like Frenzie said, first youll be doing the move. After a while, thought will cease, and you will be :feeling: the move. Then let go, and let your body be embraced in the rythym (sp? i always spell it wrong). ------------------~I dont care if they eat me alive, Ive got better things to do than survive. ~Ani

Posted: My problem was initially the other way around - how on earth could I control the weave and stand still! In the beginning I was literally weaving all over the place. I then tucked my elbows in, and all was well.
