Things were just too hectic this year. Not enough time to practice or find a stupid video camera

Good luck everyone

There's only about a half dozen entries in the COL box today, but we know of many more being hurriedly put in the post about now.

Names? You want names? nana (wait for the DVD page to go up!)

My camera broke frown
I was vaguely pestering Steve-t-a-Ninja to film me with his uber camera of death at Paris, but it'd be too much hassle to get the footage off him, edit it blah-blah-blah, I'm slack, but ALSO, things weren't working for me in Paris, hence pulling out of the show.
On top of this, have you seen the competition this year!? wink

Next year, i (almost) promise biggrin

We got ours in too..by the skin of our teeth I might add... What a drama trying to cut down hours of footage to just 3 minutes.....I cant believe how hard it is to film. Real life spinning looks sooo much better, the videos just dont seem to do justice do they?

We are finalising the submissions into the same format and will be deciding on which ones for the DVD over the next 1-2 weeks.

So, it's embarrasing to say but we are "experiencing technical difficulties"...

We're having a problem with the PAL to NTSC conversion which we hope to resolve (well today but didn't so hopefully) tomorrow/Friday. The problem results in pixelated areas on the screen and makes people's arms and poi "disappear" which is hardly good. As soon as it's resolved we'll be able to release the list of the acts and send the disk off for printing.
Assuming we crack this problem so that all the preferred acts are able to be on it, COL2007 in my humble opinion (as a non-spinner remember), is better than last years COL2006. I really like it and what everyone has done with the submissions.

Sorry to keep you all in suspense a bit longer...

thats not a technical difficulty, making your arm and poi disappear is just an uber jedi trick wink

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous and talented? Who are you NOT to be?

Woohoo smile

Best wishes to everyone who made the final cut...

And for everyone who didn't too...

It takes alot of effort to put together a COL entry, especially when you know you're up for criticism from your peers...

So well done to youse all
