I thought i would start a thread for people interested in fire staff juggling,i am really interested to see any videos of people throwing two or more staffs, and in particular anyone taking it in new direction.
I am currently working on routines with two and three staffs and contemplating a serious attempt at the four staff shower,

But the last line might be relevant...

That said... as long as the audience is entertained, who's to say which is 'right' or 'wrong'?

antti and valerie both good points well put,

enthoegoen i have done some street work since we last spoke,it was with an old experienced street performer,he make jokes i made the skills, the crowd loved both.....it was good having him make me and the crowd laugh,it took the pressure off my nerves a bit and i juggled cleaner than usual.

i think if you rely more on skills than theatre then the skills you perform have to be very clean, because thay are all you have, but im no expert,

MANICHEAN :

"adherent of the dualistic religious system of Manes, a combination of Gnostic Christianity, Buddhism, Zoroastrianism, and various other elements, with a basic doctrine of a conflict between light and dark, matter being regarded as dark and evil."

In short, the most basic way of dual thinking :o I didn't want to confuse, this was supposed to be "humor" good new/bad new.
Anyway, thanx a lot glenneroo,, for now i'll just see what my friend who's really used to this kind of problem says, it won't take to long now.
trust me as soon as I have the footages back, I finish the video during the nigth wink and let you know.

Always nice to see a different way of doing the shower. I think it's one of the main things that makes staff juggling different from clubs (apart from the fire at both ends!). i.e. what you do with them when they're in your hands!

to be honest, both shower patterns i juggle are both similar to club, patterns,
the RHD and the overhead pass are both very similar to "flat"club showers, what makes them special for me is that they have lots of fire which makes beautiful patterns in the sky
