Uhm, lots of advice, good and bad, was given in my life. Can't really remember the best one(s) but my advice to others would be:
Believe in yourself. Nothing is impossible if you believe you can do it.
Ask a question and be a fool for a minute...don't ask and be a fool your whole life.
