Seeing as we have lots of talented balancers in our midst, I thought this might be a fun addition to the chat thread- scores?

1856 to beat

[edit] just realised this is a great way to demonstrate isolations biggrin]

2944 But still haven't broken the 3000 barrier.

OK, 2 bags that zoom tip was excellent: put 800 onto my score
So I'll add some extra's;

Full screen your browser and turn off all the menu and navigation bars at the top and bottom, then
Between levels 5 and 10 zoom in once more!
Do this by right clicking, then down arrow followed by enter. very quick

alt+tab might be useful if your having trouble getting out of full screen in flash.

Damn I should be in bed
Anyone else got tips. biggrin

3189 using the 2bags/drew method:

start zoomed in as much as you can while still being able to start it. do the zooming over the score part so you have a nice vertical line in the centre of your screen (you can drag the screen to put the line in the centre). then as soon as you start zoom right up to the maximum level. keep your pointer near the bottom of the screen and just try and keep the line vertical next to guide.

until the top appears then keep that at the top of the screen. try and correct with small slow movements not big sudden ones.

easy ubbrollsmile

drew: your method of zooming in again and [right button, down arrow, click] added about seven hundred to my score, so can we just call it quits or must this madness continue? ( tongue)

Sooo glad I went to bed. Wow, well done mr 2 bags.
what do you think of the scores that look hacked or cheated in some way?

difficult to say, because without zooming just getting to 2000 is quite challenging. before i started zooming, it seemed like scores of 3000 and above might be hacked/cheated. so we could just be missing something.

but the jump between 3802 and 6438 does seem a tad on the improbable side, and completely out of keeping with the rest of the distribution of scores. so almost certainly hacked but maybe not biggrin.

did you try it zoomed all the way in? only starts to get difficult around the late 2000s and makes getting above 3000 achievable most gos.

i've tried changing the res, tweaking the mouse setting, using a graphics tablet and using the magnifyer (in accessories - accessibility) - none of which help. chutney i hate you smile.

not played much this morning, but got up to 3558 last night ubbrollsmile.

but you shouldn't stand by and watch if it becomes so addicted to the water that it stays up all night drinking - and you should feel partly responsible when it drowns itself.

Blasted annoying addictive thing!!
1800ish, but it's not calling me any names or giving me any kind of levels or anything, what's up there then? Is it something to do with my having a Mac instead of a toy computer? wink
Having read the rest of the thread I might have to play with screen sizes and zooms and stuff...

A wise man once said: "You have two ears and one mouth, therefore you should shut the censored up and listen" (though, to be fair, he might not've put it _quite_ like that..)
