lol, yesterday I learned to do the 3bt weave, and now today, I was playing around, and accidentally did a 5bt weave.. I can do 5bt weaves now I think (It doesnt look really smooth, but ok )

YAY!^^

what should I learn now, these are the moves I learned yet:
-Weave's 2,3,5 (fw)
-Butterfly normal and Butterfly split time
-Cork Screw
-Buzzsaw ( learned how to switch to it whilst spinning few mins ago )

I think thats about it, not pretty much yet, but hey! I just started
I learned 3bt weave yesterday
5bt today
buzzsaw yesterday
switching to buzzsaw today
butterfly 2 days ago

learning tricks goes soo fast biggrin

what shud I learn now??

omgg i think its not the correct 5bt weave: I do with the right hand , 2 to right , 3 to left , but its supposed to be 3 to right , 2 to left :S

Think butterfly tricks and transitions - alternating butterfly, mexican wave, backwards butterfly, over the head butterfly (halo or helicopter)

And then make sure you can transition from any move you know to any other one.

And then learn all the weaves backwards, and learn the fountain. Because fountains are great.

And once you can do the fountain, put corkscrew in to each cycle for the overhead circles.

That should keep you for a while... weavesmiley

More like 4 to the right, and four to the left

As the three beat goes "1,2,3" on one side and then repeats on the other, the five beat weave actually goes 1,2,3,4 on each side. Yea, I know it's called the five beat, but only goes 1234.

What it sounds like you have there is the 2 beat weave on one side and the three beat weave on the other side.

But then, I could be reading your post completely wrong

that would be a 4-beat weave dude.

think about what each hand does and it'll sort itself out:

2bt weave: one hand leads (through all crossovers), each hand does 2bts on each side.
3bt weave: hands take turns leading through the crossovers, each hand does 2bts on one side, 1 bt on the other.
4bt weave: one hand leads, each hand does 4bts on each side.
5bt weave: hands take turns leading through the crossovers, each hand does 3bts on one side, 2bts on the other.

@ Totaleclipse, I'll try all of that, lol, thx:D

@stout, you read my post COMPLETELY WRONG.

Im doing a 5 beat weave for sure. 5 rounds a side = 5 beat weave. But this is the problem :

when doing the 5 beat weave on the right, I should do this :

-3 circles with right hand

-2 circles with left hand

BUT how i perform it, is like this :

-2 circles with right hand

-3 circles with left hand

(My other hand starts leading)

Its works allright, but Its not the way that ppl explain in posts... my hands get a bit tangles up though, so maybe thats whats going wrong.

@Coleman, I know, but I cant do it the "Correct" way...

Thx for advice y'all, keep it coming plx smile

edit: also a question bout' butterflys, Im not rly good in them, and when I do them, they are not spinning completely vertical... and when I try to do them more vertical, they hit each other, and then my butterfly is [censored] smile

So I think I get what I do wrong, I have to do some kung-fu [censored] with my hands so they still:-

-spin vertically

-DONT hit each other

As far as I am aware the butterfly can never be in a perfect wall plane (as in, perfectly perpendicular to the ground and perfectly parallel with your body) as that would cause the poi to hit each other. They can be perfeclty perpendicular to the ground, but they will be a very slight angle in order to allow the strings to pass in front of your hands.
