i haven't made 15 yet! i've been going about 6 years, but for the last year i haven't really been doing much, so maybe 5.

I tend to practice lots for a week and then stop for a while.
I have been at it for about 2 years though.

I have been twirling staff for about 4 months, maybe a little longer now. Have just recently in the last 3 weeks learnt Poi. I also juggle and have just picked up juggling clubs.
I can see myself making the 15 year mark, definately

I've been doingstaff for about 6 months, but haven't picked it up for tha last month. I did a few weeks of contact before I went on to poi about 2 months ago. have been juggling for aobut 2 months. diabolo on and off for a few years. capoeira on and off for a few years. rope dart for about 2 months... geez, I've learned alot... and theres still heaps more stuff on my list: devil sticks, clubs, nunchaku, double staff, more contact, more rope dart, perhaps some hula hoop

i been spinning poi for about 18 months but with 4- 6 month break in there somewhere because after learning the weaves and whatnot basic stuff i ran out of things to learn and well thought there was nothing elce to learn. how wrong was i?!

my third year of staff, i think, and just about 1.5 years of poi......sth. like that, but i have to practice more staff again.........

Started juggling when I was 15. 13 years ago. Started spinning staff 3 or 4 years ago, started contact staff 8 weeks ago, and I'm a beginner every day.

Less than a year on pretty much everything. i could juggle 3 balls, just, prior to that. the uni juggling club got me obsessed, and here i am!

Poi for about a month now?
but totally see it lasting much much longer. have just found out that there is a spinners uni society (that i dont have to be at uni to join!! *woop!*) and have found the perfect spot today to practice at while i'm on my lunch break (super quiet car-park up at the top of the hill.... hardly anyone walks past so i can practice in privacy and not get mortified when people see me smack myself in various places when it goes wrong!)

Um... I'll go for 2-4 years...
Although I did start Devilstick when I was 11. The huge break I took afterwards make it not count, though...

Uh I dont know what to say... about the last year I've **attempted** poi every so often, but get too frustrated and stopped, and it was months before I tried it again. But I'd say the last month I've been trying it everyday

staff a bit over a year, and poi 6 months to a year
at least from what i remember thats right, though i could already do cross and follow with clubs (weave)

I put 2-3 months, but i used to do traditional maori poi at school. Picked them up again after a 15 year break after seeing some cool strobe poi at a music festival.

I belonged to Poly club (polynesian), where we did Maori dancing, poi, sticks and alot of singing all in Maori. It was great fun. But i lost alot of my skills after 15 years! So i class myself as a beginner

about 8 weeks for me (just learning poi), so still covered in lots of bruises! Met up with the manchester spinners at the weekend and got some top tips tho... so hopefully will start to look slightly more elegant soon!
And 28 is not old... wait until your 30th...
... the trauma.... (it required a lot of anaesthetic)

no, i only learnt poi because it started getting to cold to spin staff outside and i could spin poi inside with fewwr costs.

i been doing devilsticks 14/15 months, staff 7 months, poi jus over 3 months, and i been juggling 2 months
but i really need to get a indoor place to practise over winter or ill get [censored]

hmm been spinning broomy bits for about 4 years and I've been spinning poi for about 4 weeks, and I only really took up staff spinning properly in the last month as well...what do I put in the poll?!
