I'm booked to go to Australia in October, for.. well.. at least a year.. and I'd like to meet up with any spinny type people around.
I know it's a big place, but I have no plans and no idea where I'm going, so if anyone could tell me good places to go- festival or meet up info would be great!
Of course, offers of sofas and floors to sleep on would also be very much appreciated
I'm starting off in Sydney, predictably.

yeah we meet for fire at parliament house lawns on tuesdays after dark, and theres sometimes a few people playing/spinning on the salamanca lawns during the salamanca market on saturdays(although thats kind of died off a bit). if you're not coming up to the circus fest until next week you should definatly go to fire on tuesday

Hmm.. I don't think I'll be able to mae this tuesday, I'm sort of splittin car rental with someone else for a couple of days then exploring the island..
thanks for the info though, I'll hopefully be there sometime later, if it's a regular thing!
