My name is Alison Meppom and I have been doing poi for 6 years now.
I will be teaching lessons on poi at the Dancing Tigers Studio at 125 Brisbane street Ipswich of a Wednesday night between 5:30pm till 6:30pm.The First lesson will cost $15 for lesson and your own set of practice poi's and every lesson after that will be $10 a lesson.

Oh Hi Again Ali!! I just wrote something in your Intro thread too.. I don't get out to Ipswich much, but there is a good regular meeting in Bris that is easily accessible by train even if you don't drive in...

Also there is a crew further out near the ranges...at Aurora Crystals..having a fire night this Saturday I believe.

And if you want to meet others over the next few months, come along to 2UberOz in Bris at the end of August.. it is intended for people like yourself who have been doing poi for a while...

gabe i think the one you're thinking of is avalon crystals??

they meet the first friday of every month up that way...if you're interested meppom i can get some more info for you - or perhaps pm all_fired_in_oz - they go every month & would probably be a lot more help than me!!

do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good to eat!

Aaaaha yes it is indeed Avalon Crystals. Silly me. Doesn't seem like Meppom is here very often though...
