We had the most amazing hail storm in Sydney today. It was almost like it snowed.

I walked home across the park by the University, and people had dragged out a body-board to sled down the hill. They were even having ice fights.

What was stranger still was the fact that we had a beautiful day of sunshine today. So much so, that I was out with a friend having lunch and we went to do poi in the park.

I got a photo on the way home of an "ice-man". The number of people smiling was wonderful.

Some photos of the hail

It was a day for screaming at inanimate objects.

What this calls for is a special mix of psychology and extreme violence...

Thought you may like this picture of the courtyard at work after the hail hit. You can see that we are supposed to be heading towards spring by the tree in the foreground.

Hey reminds me of the huge hailstorm in Brisbane a year or two ago.. it was just like it snowed! I saw cars driving up a small hill (main road!) losing traction and sliding all the way to the bottom!

Not sure if I have all the pictures anymore though.. harddisk crash.. frown

Will have a look!
