Posted: Sparky you can post up links. As long as it doesn't link to porn or any other dodgy site it's fine.
I've heard tell of sites on-line where hunters can log in and pay to go on a virtual hunting trip that allows them to travel around various parts of the world shooting animals from the comfort of their own computer chair. The only non-virtual part of it is that they actually control a real gun being held by a hunter in the country and they kill real animals. They can pay to have the animals they kill stuffed and shipped back to them.
If it's true and not just a rumor, how sick is that?
Maybe I should go away and google it to see if its really happening. I'll get back to you.
[edit]
ok some links
here
and here
It would appear some steps have been taken to ban it. Although it only talks about America.....

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous and talented? Who are you NOT to be?

Posted: I thought for sure, given China's reproductive and human right's policies, that you were about to tell me how China was selling licenses to hunt Chinese people.
What would be more offensive... hunting endangered species, or letting their prisoners go free into the woods and letting people hunt them?
The thought comes to my mind, based mainly on a rumor that they are going to remake a particular Chinese movie that you may have heard of...
