wow, not quite sure what to make of that, looks really pretty, I'm guessing they are silk worms, any idea why they are in such huge numbers like that suddenly?

what are they? Caterpillars? If that had been my bike I'd have been doing the girly squealy thing of going "Eeeeeeewwwww" and trying to get someone else get my bike. :S That's really creepy how much gossamer that is.

wow - reminds me of the saw fly larvae in march and april when they strip foliage off bottle brushes and hang in clumps...
