Hello all,
Fall WildFire is only a month and a half away….. wooo hooo. WildFire is the North East’s premier performing artist training retreat specifically catering to the dance, drum, and fire artist. With an incredibly successful spring retreat behind us, this, our 5th WildFire gathering, is promising to be an explosion of learning, sharing, and community building within the performing arts community. If you are a performing artist or would like to learn / grow in this area, then please come and join us – WildFire is for you. Summary Info
September 14th - 17th (Thur – Sun)
Located at a picturesque Southern CT river front location (with hot showers - directions on website)
Car camping type venue – with limited number of cots available
Public transportation will be available
Tickets are 75$ in advanced (until Aug 31st) and 100$ there after.
No public audiences
All meals provided (many folks say they don’t eat this good normally)
Classes are taught all four days, with spontaneous sharing happening constantly
There are only 150 tickets to this event.

wow..sounds good! although i don't have anyone to go with. plus i'm new to poi..never even spun fire yet....also, i prolly have to WORK!!!!!
...although i could get excited if i go for a fire cristening(a littel early if you ask me) :P

Hey Sean......I went to the spring WF and went alone and knew nobody and had the time of my life......met loads of great people and had great fun. Seeing as your new to poi you'll learn loads from everyone and as for fire .....well you dont have to spin it but if you do theres no better place for a first burn. WF is very safety concious and everyone is really supportive of first timers. I couldnt think of a safer environment to do a first burn in and everyone will cheer for you! It was great at the spring WF we had a first time burn by this 12 year old staff spinner and it was awsome to see.
Man I cant wait to go!!!!!!
