I am planning to go travelling down under later this year (Sept/Oct).
I am hoping to travel along the East coast between Adelaide and Cairns/Great Barrier Reef. Spending between 6-8 months traveling and working my way around.
I am wondering if there are any places I have to visit or any events happening whilst I am there which are worth visiting. As well as any HoPers who would be willing to offer crash space to a wandering soul.
All help will be greatly accepted and I will update this thread and first post as things develop (i.e. visa, flights etc etc.)

Which way you heading now? Just out of curiosity really- I hardly have a spare bed :P Apart from a tent.

I'm lurking round Tasmania, avoiding the worst of the heat..

Idam had it, but Gabe sent me a message saying it had been returned to her and she would get it back to me. I will email Idam though to double check as I could have miss-understood the message.

Thats ok Ed. I emailed Idam and he said he left it with Either Gabe, Ry & Pip or the girl with red hair (I'm guessing either Elkie, or the one that just went to Christchirch for circus school.
As none of those people have contacted me with regards to it and I got this email from Gabe:

 Written by: Gabe via email

Hey Dale,
I have your sleeping bag!
Turns out it was with Idam... He brought it to Juggle Jam last night but you
weren't there.
So let me know where you are staying and I can get it to you..
Cheers
Gabe

I assume it is at your house, although I have been known to be wrong before.

How is everything else in the world of Ed?

It's in the garage.
If I am out of town and you need to get it, it's on the right hand side on a shelf.

Well I am now in Melbourne, after 3 wonderful months in Brisbane.
Have already met the Pete of Pineapples and am looking forward to meeting more.
The weather is much colder here than Brisvegas, but still warm enough for shorts (most days) biggrin
