Dom (the admin) got his poi signed by Mr Gilligan, in an ironic sort of way. Jay Gilligan in on record saying "when I poi, I like to keep them as still as possible especially when jogging" (or words to that effect).



So moving the poi after a stall (with it just hanging vertically down) is called a gilligan, named in honour of the man, the legend.
