I had no idea they were released already. I did see a website where auy had a 6x6x6 and a 7x7x7, but I heard that you need some Major connections if you want to get one.
Really i can't imagine it being too hard, just extremely time consuming. Once you solve a 5x5x5 it all seems to make sense. the whole thing is really repetitios.

If you know where to get one online, you gotta link me. biggrin

Sorta, i had one of those, im still trying to get it back..... Its completely different from any cube ive ever solved. Id consider it a pretty good accomplishment. Maybe a bit harder than a 2x2x2. Thats pretty good.

Actualy, if the pyramix has more than 4 panels and is one of those tougher ones, then yea, i would easily consider that an accomplishment.

ok, so, my 'mirror blocks' cube arrived today... that is, the fancy weird cube pictured up the page a bit..

first scrambling it, i noticed the sides dont rotate quite as easy as a normal cube, but thats to be expected. it does also go from a cube to an indecipherable mess *very* quickly

making the initial cross proved quite difficult. it was slow going, but after a little while, it got there. putting the corners in, also slow going, but not too bad.

placing the middle layer pieces was easy enough as was the top cross..

top corners were a little tricky, but not too bad smile

second try, i got 8:55.. but learnt a few things on the way through, so it should get faster from there on smile

all in all, a great way to mess with your head once youve got your mind around a normal cube, but dont want to learn any new algorithms

wow old thread lol. I just got my first cube yesterday and can now do it in about 3 minutes without taking it apart. grin

I'm struggling with the petrus method 2x2x2 then 2x2x3 too many algorithms to learn frown

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.
