2) A contact juggling move
2a) The CJ move interpreted on a non-spinning staff
3) A poi move posted in the staff section wink
4) A term to describe a staff spinning in wall plane (perhaps?)
5) A double staff move emulating the poi move

Possibly....

Burner of Toast
Spinner of poi
Slacker of enormous magnitude

You forgot the wushu butterfly jump option.

Or any move in aerial silks where you can pose holding a part of the cloth in each hand.

Its also some kind of insect.

I think thats a rumour though. What sort of muppet would name an insect after a poi move?

.... god, I wish I could remember what book I found that in.

butterfly in spinning is when 2 toys are spinning in opposite directions.
With staff thats only with doubles, so there are loads of butterfly moves. You might be thinking of the butterfly thread the needle which looks wicked, watch strugz's strugz and staff on www.soton-firespinning.co.uk for examples.

See, I always considered a butterfly to be when you bring the staff up and behind your head to grab it and bring it down behind you with the other...

I think its effectively a 2bt weave but its still a butterfly that crosses planes.

Meg does some at 2min 30sec on her 'basic doubles 2' video.

The irritating thing is that sometimes I just fall into to doing it but then cant remember how I managed it so cant repeat it on demand. I'm sure I'll get it with a bit more practise.
