My personal philosophy:

Contact Staff = Chicken + Fatmouse.

hmm, maybe a tiny bit, but blatantly less so than other forms of staff manipulation, given the relative limitation of control

"a meditation on momentum of cylinders and delinating paths across the body with it."

seems more appropriate.

hehe, at the EJC there was this greek guy who said to me:

"you've been doing staff for five years? you really should start with contact by now."

I felt guilty not being able to give my usual answer to all "What is...(insert juggling apparatus)..." questions.

I would like to have voted: Making little circles.

Surely this is the simplest definition of all disciplines of circus skills? Although I have to admit that Chicken & Fatmouse is slightly more accurate.
