See, some good really does come out of Detroit!

Posted:cage, is your sig in reference to the band? I love them, I am such a haggis head...

Anyway....

PWB and I have drooled over this for a bit now.
If you have between $200 and $300 thousand you could have one too, maybe, if they decide to manufacture it. Technically it was created to show the engine. It works.
My answer..

Posted:That's right Pele, apparently it was built it to show of the engine. Just the ticket for the lounge room, hey

If ya like power, then Jay Leno's (Tonight Show host) bike is up for grabs; a steal at $100K or so. Its powered by a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter Allison Rolls Royce gas turbine, and you can ride it on the road Sorry, couldn't find a better picture.

Posted:Depends on what kind of stunts. The weight and wheel base are actually too much to do alot of the lift stunts, however I would imagine they make a great flat base to do the bike-nastics type stuff.
I remember when Leno bought the helicopter bike a couple years ago. There are a couple like it in the world, it's why he wanted it. He has quite the collection that I admire, but too many I think. These beauties are for ripping up on the road, not sitting in some pretty garage somewhere, I don't care how well polished and warm they are there!
For me, the not so rich person....Ducati or Harley all the way!

(and Cage: Brian from ETH and I are working out music for the video I am doing with Malcolm! I use Lanigan's Ball and Star of the County Down for spin songs )

I figured these numbers based off the viper getting 13/21 MPG (city/highway).

Flash, I agree that is is rather Manga.

They did some funky things with this bike. The head and tail lights are between the tires using LEDs. The two circles near the handle bars seem to be air-intakes for the engine.
Front shot with lights on
It's probably ridden more like a chopper bike. The Harley's with the long forks. Check this picture for what I mean.
Seating position

I have pictures of it up at work and I think it's one of the coolest vehicles I've seen in a long time.

Posted:as far as tricks the 500+ horse power engine would allow for any wheelies you want.but also since it wil stand upright while static would surely make any bikenastics childs play.
the turbine bike wuld be cool exept for these things that were quoted from leno.
:Stopping, requires a bit of know-how. "You've got a lot of lag, both on and off throttle," Leno explains. "If you shut off at 80 mph, you're still going 80 mph. And you have no compression braking at all, so you learn to brake a half-second earlier than you normally would. Whenever I want to stop, I hit the neutral button, then get on the brakes."

The 8.5-gallon fuel tank is huge, even by touring-bike standards. But with mileage ranging from 4 to 7 mpg, max trip length is fewer than 60 miles. "You ride from gas station to gas station," Leno says, "and just hope you don't run out in between."

Another drawback (besides the noise) is the enormous heat that billows from the outward-facing slash-cut pipes. "I was sitting at a traffic light," Leno says in slightly hushed tones. "I looked in my rear-view mirror and saw this Infinity car bumper kind of fold in on itself. I thought, 'Oh jeez, let's just pull away from here...' "

Ha Pele, the choice b/t a Ducati 999S or a Hardly Dangerous V Rod sports would be difficult. The Duke would eat anything in the mountains, but which would ride too impress the latte set? I think the choice of stunt bike (holds back from saying something cunning) really depends on whether you like a long-stroke or a short-stroke motor Triumph Speed-Triples rule
