For all the Aussies who have watched Spicks and Specks on the ABC, you will know this for sure. Everyone else; here's how it works:

You take a book. A random book. And you find a page in it.

Then you find a song. A famous and well known song.

And you sing the tune of the songs to the words of the book. And the other people have to guess the song.

Make sense?

It is damn rocking mine and Roarfire's worlds right now!!!!

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

many people will know this game (sort of) from "i'm sorry i haven't a clue" on radio 4
where they play one song to the tne of another so as opposed to a book, it is another song.
very fun, also swanee (sp?) kazoo is a great game, two people, one with a swanee (slide) whistle and one with a kazoo play a well know tunes, great fun.

UCOF "evolution: Poi -> stick -> hoops -> devil stick -> juggling club -> juggling ball -> crayons."

You must be having such fun! ubblol

My state of mind is not yours to define!

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

My sister and I were snowed into a tent once, we did that with my learner driver book! The road rules are much more interesting to the tune of Sweet Child of Mine!

It's such a fun game. I always thought that I wouldn't be able to do it but it is possible without rehearsing!

Hey Rougie!...

*sings a book of one liners to the tune of 'I would do anything for love'*

*giggle*

.All things are beautiful if we take the time to look.

Scared Weird Little Guys do a thing called "Stump the scardies" where you give them a song and they have to sing it in the tune of another song (audience choice)

Also at Snow Venture as a 3 minute talk we made one of the guys read about a page or 2 from "Does Dracula Have AIDS?" (Geoffrey Robertson's Hypotheticals) in the tune of Dashing through the snow/ Jingle Bells
