There is a kids' TV series I remember watching when I was a little one, but I have not been able to remember the name for a few years!

I'm 20, and I would have been watching it when I was under 10, if that helps people with the age of it.

It's British, and it was something to do with the Last Unicorn. There was a boy named Roland and him and his friends could travel between reality and a fantasy world (which often intertwined) and they had to save the unicorn or something like that.

Any help on the name or more infor on the story, please?

i would have changed ***** to phallus, and claire to petey Petey

Rougie: but that's what I'm doing here
Arnwyn: what letting me adjust myself in your room?..don't you dare quote that on HoP...

nope, there wasn't a main character in Dungeons and Dragons called Roland.

They were Hank, Diana, Sheila, Eric, Presto, and Bobby, with the unicorn ingeniously named "Uni".

I have the DVD's. And yes....I know I'm a geek. ubblol

ubblol fair dues (it was 20 years ago) but what was presto's REAL name wink

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

um... could it have been .."The Last Unicorn" (although I think thats a film)

sounds a bit like "Dungeons and dragons" there was a unicorn, pretty sure one of the people was called roland but they couldn't travel between worlds. they were trying to get home FROM a fantasy world.

actually scrub that... I watched that 20 years ago ubblol

Dungeons and dragons I recon.

P.S. I only read as far as Mynci's post. Sorry. Over exited.

yeah but this show was back in the eighties mynci - before they were all extinct.

and like rouge said, that series had the last unicorn on earth in it - apparently the pressures of the tv series' filming schedule finished that species off... wink

Sorry, no clue about the girls called Jo. My mind is telling me it rings a bell, but it isn't that repliable! I can only specifically remember Roland because either he, or the character who called his name had a very strong accent.

And they did get between worlds with something, and a mirror sounds like it could well be right.

ooh! and one of the characters (i think it was Roland) lived in a white house with bay windows looking onto a green lawn, and I think then backing onto a forest or something like that.
