Ok, so the deal is, weekend meet, along the Wales/England border.

Dates: 29th Sept-1st October

Location: Court Farm Campsite , Llanthony, nr. Abergavenny for a minimal fee of £2 per person per night. 4 quid!! Two pubs within walking distance and a really old priory... Court farm have said they will cordon off half the campsite for camping and spinning, but no bonfires sorry!

All other information can be found on the wiki including a list of attendees definately and maybe, please add your name as soon as possible if you're coming because i need to let the campsite know!

Wiki is at borderpatrol.wikispaces.com. And contains also a space for arranging lifts. The nearest train station is Abergavenny and it's 15mins drive, so if you come by train at all, please put it on there, you WILL need a lift!

if anyone is coming by train, can you please please please let me know beforehand what time roughly you will arrive in abergavenny, because i am less than convinced that my phone will work!

Hope to see lots of you there!

me tinks the horsies live in a seperate field away from the campsite, so they should be fine, and the woman i emailed obviously wasn't bothered about freaking them, i did tell her multiple times about the fire part...

so some rules for the weekend:

- no children in the river by accident, but if the child can't be stopped then it's ok
- adults in the river are fine, leave them there unless they appear to be drowning
- stroke chutney only if you are horsefree
- stroke the horses but not near chutney
- don't confuse chutney with horses

sound reasonable?

Is it compulsory to stroke Mr Chutney as long as you are horse hair free? I'm not sure, even though Dave is lovely, that I want to stroke him. Having been trapped in a tent with one of Mr C's farts before I don't want to do anything that might relax him enough to let one slip. help

To be fair I think it's mainly if he drinks too much beer that he lets out the death gas. You could try plumbing him into the stove and see if you can cook breakfast on the methane he produces ubblol

Yes indeedy- Beer (or Binger Gear) does not agree with the mystery internal mechanisms of Chutney. I just keep testing it to see if it learns.

No joy as yet (I don't like this smelly rep- I am not smelly- I'm actually very clean).

dudes> what are arriving early to the campsite tomorrow. The woman did say something about cordoning off half the area for us, and wrote in her diary, so it should be fairly easy to figure out where to go... if not, i guess you can ask in the farm, where to pitch, the woman i spoke to was called Cordelia... and if she doesn't know what you're talking about with HoP, Home of Poi and whatnot, my real name is Rhiannon and I made the booking biggrin

Damn i'm tired and still haven't packed; see you all on the morrow.
