Posted:One of my two coworkers who constantly makes me think maybe drugs are the answer to life's problems basically said today that it was bad to put up a sign about not faxing incomplete charts because (most of) the people who worked up front have been working this job for years.

Now, anyone who's been working any kind of medical reception for months nevermind years and can't understand not to fax a chart with no doctors notes needs their head checked anyway, but....

what. the. censored

I don't understand people? What on earth is her point? Why is someone's undeserved ego more important than doing a simple part of a job right? And if its such an insult to have such a sign up, then WHY IS IT NECESSARY?

/end rant

Posted:I used to manage the outgoing mail for a small mobile phone company. All items needed to specify who sent them and from which department which was rarely the case. I hadn't been working there for long so I asked my boss for advice who suggested that I should send a polite memo.

As I was delivering it I heard some staff whisper "who does she think she is?" and some would immediately put them in the bin in my presence frown

Of course, from that day onwards, their unmarked outgoing mail did tend to go "missing" more often than not... devil
