Hallo! I want to ask wether I can apply to COL 2006 with some other toys different from the listed. I am doing fire nunchaku. I also have a friend who is very good at batons, so can he participate with his fire batons?

Hmmm, well I could tapdance and whistle "when the Saints go marching in" backwards, so if I set my hat on fire, could I participate on Col too ?

That was a bit harsh. There's no need for sarcasm if someone was asking a decent question.

And, no, I don't know the answer...

Sorry for stepping on anyones toes if I did, I was just under the impression that when they say "Send us your video clip of Staff/Poi/Glowstick/Fire Poi" in the application, they might as well mean it.
Another hint would be the name of the site aka Col editor, which wasnt home of nunchako/baton/hoolahoop when I looked last ...

well western poi spinning comes mainly from indian club swinging, batons just like that isn't it? i used fire nunchku for the first time and found them very similar to poi, just gotta be aware of the extra flame by my elbow.

So why on earth would they not be allowed???

The baton is also a kind of staff, and many ot the moves are the same (at least the style of the friend of mine), so my question is serious! I still have not got an answer.

So, if the baton twirling and nunchucks are both, artistically performed and on fire, they'd seem to be very appropriate.
