I've created a Fantasy World Cup League for Home of Poiers, to pitch against each other the mighty managerial skills of the world's finest firespinners.

The game is free online and hosted by the official UK Football Association Premier League site.

You'll need to register and create a team at https://fpli.premierleague.com

After making your team, click on the 'Leagues' link on the right of the page and enter this code -

Code:
227493-38076

- to join the Home of Poi league.

Isn't green and gold some football team (or baseball)? I vaguely remember it out of a John Irving novel!

You have no more points coming until the 15th at the earliest.

Then again, you did only pick players from Australia... and England.. and Van Nistleroy.. confused

So um.. what happens in the knockout stage, when Australia wont be in the competition anymore, and you need to transfer more than 4 players in one go, otherwise you wont get any points whatsoever? umm

As far as I know you have unlimited transfers in the knockouts. But a real concern, given the small list of players you can choose: What happens if England gets knocked out? I mean, yeah, there are players from other teams, but let's say the last 4 were Brazil, Argentina, Italy and Germany (still hoping...), you'd only have like 5 players to pick a team of 11!

I\'ve joined (with a terribly imaginative team name). Not because I\'m interested in footy, but becuase I hear a certain monkey is making slurs against my honour.

I don't think i like what your implying ubblol We'll see where the aussies are at after the Brazil game and go from there.
I have supreme confidence in the aussie invaders making a good show of things. Even if the end up being made up from everyone bar Australians. biggrin
