Actually Mr Itsgottab Doesn't post very much himself. I kinda thought he wasn't posting here anymore....

Must've misunderstood that one.

Some people just post in poi moves or whatever. Others lurk.

Diana - for instance - has been here for ages but she's only got about 5 posts to her name.

Well I know many folks who have regestered but leave, Many have lives that don't include Computers.
On the other hand;
I can't believe how big this place got! When I left and came back, it had beed a long time. I left with something like 1000 fire folks here, and when I came back there was over 3000! WOW!
Although it seems like the same folks are still here posting, the same as when I left.

Diana's got tons of posts. They're just so old that she's listed as "Unregistered" so it doesn't tally anything since she changed her name from Diana the Huntress.

I do wonder why someone would register and then not post.

Perhaps we should PM them all and ask them.

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

It's not the same Diana, as huntress didn't feel comfortable registering. Many check but don't post....but they had registered just in case......Djinn(chris), Kerri, Flavio, Jess, Charly, countless others....they know they are loved and welcome but usually come in search of something specific and disappear when they find it. It's all good.

Besides some of us have big enough mouths to compensate!

Some of us only feel comfortable posting when we have someting important to say or to contribute. Otherwise, we're content to see what others have to say...For example, I am not exactly an active 'spinner,' but I find the conversations on this board some of the most interesting and profound (and fun) So I sneak in now and then, covertly, and occasionally add my two cents...

How's that line go? "Do not speak unless you can improve the silence."

I'm going to go back to holding my piece now...or was it peace? Peas?

Never criticize someone until you've walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you DO criticize them, you are a mile away, and you have their shoes.

It's quite easy to forget about the thousands of lurkers and surfers who visit the Bulletin Board here.

The regular posters are most definitely in the minority, and always will be.

"WE ARE NOT ALONE!!!"

Even myself, I often read through all the current threads, wait to see if someone says what I was going to say, and then move on.

But to each their own...Anyway, what is my post count now, must be pretty tiny...

Well, I've been active on the boards since about a year ago. I registered in May, 2001, though. But there wasn't much of a board back then.

But as for sheer blabbermouthness, nobody could ever hold a c@ndle to our dear fraggle friend.

I think it's all gone a bit mental...

I remember when I was first posting on here, C@ntus was just coming up to his 400th post and I had just got my 200th. Now, a year down the line and the difference is crazy.

I used to be a bit of a waffler, but ran out of things to say so now just try to make intersting and pertinent points [sic]

By the way, what does [sic] actually mean?

i think its short for some latin. it means 'so it is said' or something similar.
the dictionary usually just says its used to call attention to words or a phrase, usually a quote - hence 'so it is said'.
