it'll be easy! (as all good drinking games are). All you have to do is every time someone says the name of someone who couldn't make it we all stand up and toast "absent friends" and take a drink or a smoke and sit down again! Anyone who forgets, is slow, falls over or does anything else deemed worthy of punishment by the others takes another drink/smoke.

Er, good point. I can get back from somewhere on the motorway with a decent train station I'm sure. I'll have a look at an A-Z tonight.

sorry to come back to the mundane, any idea of nearest cash point or will it be better to just come well prepared? can the site / pub take cards?

and finally... from the site's (web)site
"No Arrivals later than 9.30pm unless be prior arrangement."

does this still apply as you've taken numbers and stuff? could be a bit tricky traveling that far after a working day.

If my memory serves me correctly, yes the pub can take cards for food etc, as can the campsite.

Nearest cashpoint will be down in Hayle, which you will need to be driven to, so if you can come prepared.

Not a bad likeness.. although to be truly authentic, you'd have to say something more like "Dude.. 9:00AM!" wink
