Thanks hun. There are plans for a bus coming from Manchester but if I'm gonna be going home on the Sunday then it's not wise for me to be on it!

(What's Sunday service like down there?)

Last time I looked at the timetable I ended up walking around Birmingham for 2 hrs waiting for the train to take me to Wellington to see Dunc. Then finding out that it's Sunday so I had to take a train to Wolverhampton and change to a bus service. Did that only to find that the bus to Wellington wasn't for another 2 hrs! Decided to go straight home as Dunc had to be at work at 6am the next day and i wouldn'tve gotten there till 10pm....

So I'm gonna make sure about Sunday Services from now on!
Gonna be taking the National Express at about 03:30am Thursday night/Friday morning and arriving at Plymouth 12:40noon on Friday

Ouch...

And are you going home from Plymouth on the sunday?

If so let me know, Ma and Pa may be going up to visither brother that weekend, and if they do go its normally on a sunday as its the only day off they have together.

I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving you a lift if they are going up?

Your Brother lives up north? Where abouts? I'd feel funny about lifts from strangers (can you imagine the things I'll try NOT to talk to your mum about?!)

My current most likely itinerary is

TO:

Preston 0340 - Plymouth 1240

Plymouth 1306 - Hayle 1506

RETURN:

Hayle 0923 - Plymouth 1114

Plymouth 1225 - Preston 2130

or

Hayle 1338 - Plymouth 1522

Plymouth 1645 - Preston 0205

Thanks Kel hug I'll keep that in mind. I'll just buy the train ticket to Hayle on the day. But I'll need to book the national express to Plymouth very soon.

If I do get the train to Hayle, it'll cost me a total of £69 (At least I can sleep on the journey down!)

o.k seriously considering going to this now. would be nice to put faces to names. it's just the 8 hours of driving i'd be doing on the thursday after a late night at an awards ceremony on the wednesday that's holding me back. i'm sure a few paracetamol and a bottle of lucozade will keep me going!

My plan was to travel down on Thursday and then see how many folks were still about on Sunday. I've got Monday off work so if there are still a lot of people about Sunday afternoon/evening I'm quite happy to come home Monday. I was just going to go with the flow really peace wink

Alas no naked suit, I wasn't quick enough to keep that but I've got a pimp suit if that works for you??
