So-- whats the best most valuable, funnest thing you've ever rescued out of a skip?
Should we star up a worldwide "skipwatch"?
Am I a complete packrat / scrounger / hopeless case?

My college had an auction of all their old computer equipment, and I bid pretty high on some not so good computers, because nothing was described, and the cases looked pretty good. (bloody IT staff got all the good stuff, because they knew what everything was).

However, everything that wasn't sold ended up in the skip, so on the way home my mate backed his van up to the skip and we got the lot biggrin

You aren't thinking or really existing unless you're willing to risk even your own sanity in the judgment of your existence.

Green peppers, lime pickle and whole-grain mustard = best sandwich filling.

Before, the earliest date on them is for the twelth. Not sure if this is a "use by" or a "display until" date though. They threw them out last thing at night so they were still cold, although by the the time we got them to the freezer all the chocolate fish and chunks had settled to the bottom.

Too much of a good thing really....
