ok, so basically a finger flasher is the wheel and flint from a lighter on a ring. you load a bit of flash cotton into it and can then produce a small ball of fire from your hand.
just considering it's uses in fire juggling.
could either pause during a routine and make a ball of fire appear from your hand.
or i was thinking of using it to light a staff or poi, but it probably doesn't get hot enough, and certainly doesn't last long enough to light anything.
ah well, just wanted to put it forward!

Just use a basic lighter of anykind i don't think that that would work as very well good idea though

Those things get really hot, although it's quite shortlived, the flame they can kick out is relatively intense compared to a standard lighter flame.
I think you're right about it not lasting long enough though, especially if you're using paraffin as fuel.
A few words of warning - you've got to watch out for over-filling them. For a while I had burns along the top edge of my index finger - the flame was large enough to expand sideways a fair way and cook my finger a bit.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

unlucky.
i got some flash cotton caught in it a couple of days ago, so when i went to pull my hand away from the flame it just kept burning in the flasher. the blister may last a little while!
all fire spinners should be made aware of flash products!

Horsepower is how fast u hit a tree. Tourqe is how far the tree goes with u

basically looks like cotton wool but if you put a flame to it it goes up in a ball of fire

of course. although i wouldn't know of any shops, you can find it on any magic website.

most of those sites will also sell flash paper and cotton.
im yet to delve into devices as such, but, using flash paper is a nice start for a fire show, ive also got a few nice tricks that use it too.
