Hello everyone,

The Firegathering is on again this year with a new venue and a bigger capacity. There's some really great live music, cabaret and workshops in store so hopefully some of you can make it. For anyone who doesn't already know; The Firegathering is a music, spinning and circus skills festival with a really great vibe. Check out the website for more info:

Its gots loads of lines through all the writing. It says it is full frown
Can people still turn up and get a ticket?
They are only small and wont take up much room.

shrug

Yes, thats it.. can 4 people turn up on the door and get the £25 tickets? umm

or

Can we simply buy tickets on the door?

Brilliant weekend!

Funniest part of it was watching jon and scully take down their tent in torrential rain. Sorry guys it cant have been much fun for you but we thought it was funny.

Massive thanks to strugz for getting me that curry, that has to be the tastiest vegie meal ive ever eaten.

And obviously thanks to the firetoys guys for putting it on, ill do more work next year i promise!

I think it should be a rule that all festivals have a sauna and jacuzzie, its exactly what you want after a hard days spinning.

well that was an ace weekend... even though by the time i got my arse as far as the jacuzzi they'd already turned it off an it'd gone cold so i didn't bother! smile

with the party vibe rolling through sat night the rain certainly didn't put too much of a dampener on things.
bounce

Highlights for me were:

Getting pissed an watching beatboxers on Fri.
Finding a nice field to practice in before it rained...
Acro balance wrokshop with Taff on Sat Afternoon (thanks Ben!)
Managing to pull off the fireshow despite wet sticks (which were damn annoying) and the odd tangle.
Watching, meeting and at last buying a CD off the lads from Bad Science (i've been waiting since october!).
Comming back from 9-5 down to win game of Fussball with Tom.
Bouncing around on the swimming poool cover till daybreak on sat night/sun morning...

Glad everyone got back OK, well done to the fretoys crew for putting on such an awesome weekend and roll on Play!:D

Oh yeah Lynne and Jon I felt really bad leaving you guys to dismantle the übertent in the horrid rain, if anyone deserved help if was the master of all tent putting upness JonJon. I hope it didn't take too long to pack up and the rain let up a little for you hug hug2 hug If I hadn't needed to get back so early to see Edans before bedtime (I got home just in time) I would have stayed on and helped out.

Next time my ass is yours as Tent beatch Jon hug
