It's organised by a lot of the Glasto/Green Gathering folk, so will be much fun!!!

It finishes on the day before Play2, so I'm gonna be making my way straight there . . . roadtrip!

Need help getting form Bristol to Sunrise 16/06
I have tickets!!
Greetings to all
Im sure many of you know Gabe from these pages. She's a wonderfull angel of assistance and a good friend.
She is arriving in the UK on the 16th June and I am due to be picking her up from Bristol airport at midday.
However I have a booking at the Islae of Wight festival, that kind of turns this into a 100 mile round trip.
I am wondering if anyone would be able to pick her up and bring her to Sunrise festival, to play with all her friends!!
I actually have some spare tickets for sunrise, so could make it worth someones while.
please PM me if its at all possible
Thanks in advance

Hi Luke!! I have barely seen the UK apart from a few freezing days in May...but Morocco has been treating me very well indeed and I have just arrived for my first crazy day in Spain. TImezones, euro exchange and bus departures did NOT match and I ended up taking a madly expensive taxi ride to get to Granada.. where I am now esconced in a funky backpackers called, amazingly, Funky Backpackers. Have toyed with the idea of extending my stay a day but I think it all too mad and I shall just come on Friday as in Plan A. Sounds like Rob will be able to pick me up now and I'll see you then??!!!

I went the last 2 years, the first year, great for meeting poi people, i was the crazxy girl running about meeting everyone (i was kinda trashed) 2nd year i was a bit more relaxed, met a few guys with dreads doing poi (drool) and had fun. Last years sunrise was amazing...like proper drool worthy.
but i knwo this year the sunset is gonna be [censored], its tradition, good year, bad year.....
you having a meet? i was thinking about going to amesbury this year instead for a change....

Grace are you talking about going to Stonehenge for the last 2 yrs cos this is the 1st year this festival has ever happened.

I went to Avebury stones last year and it was beautiful and far less people but still a loely vibe and the most amazing sunrise. biggrin

Not long till Sunrise kicks off.bounce2... any fire spinners want to be involved in the finale show on Tuesday please come to the rehersals sun, mon & tue 2pm outside the circus /cabaret tent (am guessing a location as haven't seen the site so it may change). sunny

this was a good one, the general level of chaos was perfect, there was brilliant things happening all day everyday, hug to everyone who was there. i think my favourite moments was the wood circle on the last morning which definetly had some special feelings going on, and the band (groove weird??) who played after the invisible (what a con, they all looked visble to me ubbrollsmile) circus one night when it started to rain dry rain, was definetly one of the most apocolyptic momnets i can remember...

They decided to start the fetsival season off - and not have to deal with competition - they lost a fortune last year - have still to pay many of the performers and they dont want another finacial disaster
Was good fun though - in a kind of Super late night Cabaret sort of Invisble way!!!
