I think there maybe a thread about this already somewhere but I couldn't find it. So feel free to flame grill me if you can. You can even hipthrust if you wish as long as you produce a link to it biggrin

Today through the post I got a delivery of beads and a bead loom set, which included a loom frame, some beads, thread and 2 needles. On the outside of the box it all came in there is this statement..... not once but 4 times in english and and 8 more times in various other languages.

ATTENTION!: Needles have sharp points. Keep this packaging for futre reference.

No Sh!t Sherlock, needles are sharp! I better keep the box just incase one day I forget that fact.... rolleyes

Are we all so dumb now days that we have to be told this sort of stuff? Thats as bad as the peanut butter spread jar having "warning!: This jar may contain peanuts."

Arggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

On Sainsbury's peanuts:
"Warning: Contains nuts."

 Written by: TheBovrilMonkey

Yeah, I always like that one too.
It's pretty handy for those with nut allergies, or for people (like myself) who just like the opportunity to point out that, in all likelihood, a bag of peanuts will contain no traces of nuts whatsoever, as peanuts aren't nuts smile tongue

Woohoo, another opportunity for the peanuts != nuts comment biggrin

I'd say it would be very likely, given the probable sharing of packing lines with nut based products wink

Let's relight this forum ubblove

if someone were to sue me i think i would try to sue them back for lacking common sense.

Approx. 5 years ago a wildlife park took in and looked after a wounded rabbit, a 7 year old boy came along and stuck his fingers into the rabbits cage to pat it and as a result he was bitten by the bunny, the boy cried for about 5 mins and then was fine, but his parents sued to wildlife park for the incident and that wilf life park is now closed down.

how selfish would you have to be to sue someone else for your own sons mistake. and make everyone (and many animals) suffer because of it.

Nanny University!

They've just removed the toaster and the grill out of the institute's kitchen room, because they are close to a fire alarm and there were some wrong alarms in the building next door because of toasters. Not in ours, and it's been running for 9 months now...

Now, since toasters HAVE to be near a fire alarm cause they are a fire hazard, but CANNOT be near a fire alarm cause they may give a wrong alarm, we have now no toasters in the building, except for the canteen, where you have to pay for toast and can't re-heat your pizza etc.

ARGH! No. Sense. Whatsoever.

I got an email today with examples so i thought I'd bump this thread.

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom) --
"Do not turn upside down."
(well...duh, a bit late, huh!)

On Sainsbury's peanuts -- "Warning: contains nuts."
(talk about a news flash)

On Boot's Children Cough Medicine --
"Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication."
(We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could
just get those 5 year-olds with head-colds off those bulldozers.)

On Marks &Spencer Bread Pudding --
"Product will be hot after heating."
(...and you thought????...)

On a Sears hairdryer --
Do not use while sleeping.
(That's the only time I have to work on my hair.)

On Nytol Sleep Aid --
"Warning: May cause drowsiness."
(..I'm taking this because???....)

On most brands of Christmas lights --
"For indoor or outdoor use only."
(as opposed to what?)

On a Japanese food processor --
"Not to be used for the other use."
(now, somebody out there, help me on this. I'm a bit curious.)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts -- "Instructions: Open packet, eat
nuts."
(Step 3: say what?)

On a child's Superman costume --
"Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly."
(I don't blame the company. I blame the parents for this one.)

On a Swedish chainsaw --
"Do not attempt to stop chain with your
hands or genitals."
(Oh my God..was there a lot of this happening somewhere?)

woah, gotta love the chainsaw one!

We unpacked a new tent on Sunday, and right in the middle of the whole pack, like when you'd removed all the bits of tent and pegs and stuff, there was a little piece of paper saying to be careful to remember the order in which you unpacked it so you could get it in the bag again wink Thanks for putting that reminder somewhere you can only find it AFTER unpacking everything! (tent's fine though, went back in alright)

I think judges should have the power to slap people they think are silly and throw them out the courtroom.

All rise...would the accusing party please come here...*slap* now grow up or I'll hold you in contempt
