I dont think theres much i can say that hasnt already. what i will though is that i was expecting an excellent time like last year, but this just blew me away! (calm down lee) it was perfect (granted a coupla hiches) and its feels excellent to have been part of it

cheers mr will for transport and a wicked night out, damn you with your cocktails!

muchly appreciated brews and bacon from ro, your such a star! - even if your lazy and it took you 3 days to get your hats out the car

the shows were excellent, some great comedy moments, loved robs language workshop! duuuuddddeeee

met some more fantastic peeps, cheers dunc sym et al, youve made something beautiful

Thanks to all those who taught me things and came and said 'ooooh, nice toys' - it's given me a renewed energy to press on and get them working!

Had an awsome weekend dude, thanks to dunc and everyone for organising it, it was amazing.

I learnt sooo many new poi and CJ tricks, and have so much more to practise.

Niko (sp?) had the frisbee, last I saw it, and I think I was the last to leave the game.

Get The Lock Up back next year, they were brilliant! And having to leave Tim's 'staff cartwheels' workshop early because I couldn't do one-handed cartwheels has inspired me to practise wheeling about in my garden all year so I can actually learn the tricks next time. Excellent all round!

As well as (re-)introducing 'draw' - 'bang!' into the proceedings, I thought I'd try something else..

What's the funniest thing you saw at Play this year?

(Mine has to be the 'My name is Joe' wind-down at the contact poi workshop, followed closely by the language workshop battle bout)

Play was absolutely f...ing incredibly awesome. I loved every minute of it. My only regrets were being so shy about trying to meet some people, and somehow missing Ros's movement workshop (I got back late from giving a load of people a lift to the showers).



Polarity - thank you SO much for trying to fix my poi, I got an amazing suprise from HoP when I got back, they'd read my customer feedback and have said they'd send me a replacement glow ball =)))



Sandy - yours staff's awesome m8, really hope you can sort your promo vid out again too.



Rob - running kanga boot bungi nunchuka's...lol, absolutely jedi man I'll get vid's photo's available as soon as poss.



Vixen - sorry for the Swindon mixup where you live's lovely, been there a few times.



Beth - really looking forward to you coming back and helping you as much as I possibly can with the circus stuff.



Mico, Carola, Kay I love you guys, so glad you were there.



Ros - I'm not the only one, everyone's fallen in love with your homemade Poi

excellent, i had a wicked time. pretty much almost a perfect few days, a pity it was all over soo soon, i was just getting into the swing of things and then i woke up and most of the play village had dissapeared into thin air.

thanks evryone for all the hard work.. roll on with the next one...

Had a really good time. Thanks to all that made it possible. Thanks to all that I spent time with. Thanks to all who were so nice about the whole 'MORNING' thing and didnn't come and kick my ass (which you had full right to :lol), and thanks to all the lovelly people I met for the first time.

'Twas most fun. And then some. And I still have no idea who most people are, a few more Play's should help though.

Still sleepy, but I no longer smell, which is good. Though for some inexplicable reason I am in work despite being on holiday. Fool.

Thanks for rescuing me bucket Strugz, unfortunately you hadn't materialised when we left yesterday.

And thanks to polarity for teaching my modular origami. This is probably now going to take over what little space is left in my flat.

Was sooo good to see so many lovely people again.

Now I have to go sort out the bees which swarmed yesterday resulting in 8 messages from my mum on my phone when I switched it on this morning. Oops.

My brain hurts

Sorry to anyone who I drunkenly giggled at in the early hours of the morning (Meg - I have a vague idea that this comment should be aimed in your direction).

I've learned many silly things and pretty much nothing constructive.

The whole weekend is a bit hazy but from what I can piece together...

Will - Congratulations on realising who I was on monday morning
Chris (dub) - Hope you're feeling better dude.
Strugz - Next year I guess you'll be leaving the driving to someone else
Cole - Hearing you telling the people in your workshop about Hugo's inverted stall trick made me laugh. I still cant do it! That boy is not normal.
Ravehead - good to meet you man. I'll be seeing you in a forest some time soon no doubt
CrazyHippyChic (I think) - I'll let you guys know when I'm in Stoke and sort stuff for a big manchester bbq

Umm..btw Izzy seemed to pick up some grim tummy bug Sunday night and spent most of Monday vomming everywhere. Sincere apologies to anyone she may have passed it on to...sorry.

Morgan (my youngest) also has said tummy bug on the plus side of this we have just chilled and watched the play dvd about 4 times although i was uber shocked to see that i am actually caught on cam for the work shop with Strugz not bad i guess 19 months of spinning several festies and meets of dodging cams and some bugger got me
