Posted:it would be lovely but it is releatively expensive.

it will not burn the colours you see there - the colours are simply for decorative purposes smile

Posted:It looks cool but as Cole said, it won't burn that colour.

Has anyone tried the coloured flames fuels from feuershow.de?

Posted:$11?! I can get it in blue for $2 at KMart.

Works just like regular. It's actually nice because you can distinguish it from other fuel dumps (like pesky whitegas) quite easily.

I've wondered about it for a while but I dont think that they'll ship fuel to the UK.

Posted:It's more or less what I used to light when I used to live in Ireland because I hadn't found anything else (picture of the red paraffin).

It burns like regular but the smelling is slightly different...

Posted:They were talking about this stuff over on tribe.net a few weeks ago. It seems the green gives the most dramatic effect on fire toys, but the other colours are kinda lame.

It's not your typical aliphatic lamp oil though, and I haven't been able to find out what it actually is ( methanol? ) yet, however I'm more interested in finding a Canadian supplier, as the Americans won't ship up here frown

Posted:Coloured flames are never as bright as regular ones.

Really good green flames are dim when spun. You get a "hey is that guy spinning glowsticks?" effect. They're actually much dimmer than ultra glowsticks.

I still think coloured flames is one of those "Neeto, let's never do this again" type things.
