Hey guys
small Get together at southbank for friendship, fun and spinny goodness, ALL hoppers are welcome and even non hoppers if ya wanna bring any other peeps.
starts at 3.30 meet at the grassy knoll (!) by the piazzia.
Bring all yer toys and some eats to chuck in for huge spread and shared picnic... Please Pm me if you have any questions

Hmmm. I thimk the rain might be coming and going a bit. I heard a rumour that there were short films on at Southbank today, which might be pleasent even in the rain. Btw, Southbank Corparation hires an Imp to paint a picture every 20 seconds, so y'all can have a look at the topsy turvy weather there.

Like it short? Like it sweet? Or maybe funny or dramatic is more your style? However you like your films, you’ll love this year’s Sony Tropfest – the world’s largest short film festival.
Brisbane joins in the national free event Sunday 26 February, with the Tropfest films screening at the Suncorp Piazza, South Bank.
Get in early to grab a set and join the crowd. The 16 finalists’ films will be screened with proceeding kicking of at 5pm. Each film is maximum of seven minutes long and includes the 2005 Tropfest Signature Item ‘Bubble’.
A secret panel of judges, including famous acting and film names, will decide the winning short film. More than 130,000 people across Australia are expected to join the film festival frenzy at free, open-air screenings in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Hobart and Perth.
Text your friends in these cities to arrange a long-distance, simultaneous night out because the films, and announcement of the winners, are screened live via satellite across the country.
Make sure you are at the Suncorp Piazza on Sunday 26 February for a great night.

I am having a serious case of homebodyitis... my needs to garden (virulent Brissy summer weeds wait for no girl...) clean house (new, very pregnant friend moving in tomorrow) sleep (to make up for the last 3 years) and work (a week past deadline on a project that I am about half way through...) are competing with any thoughts of leaving home within the next 24 hours....
But it is beautiful blue skies and I wish everyone well for picnic capers!

it was nice a sunny the whole time at southbank... minus the time when i fell asleep (i almost always do that when watching movies alone for some reason)

so all you brissie spinners! i'm having an Unhousewarming party THIS friday!!
it's an Unhousewarming cos it's not actually at my house...which isn't an actual house anyway!! (it's a unit too small to fit many people into for a party!!) so...when? THIS FRIDAY!!
at around...umm...6.30pm i spose!! where? at the park down the road from my house!
cnr blamey st & kelvin grove rd, kelvin grove, brisvegas, qld, oz, earth!! i'll bring some snack foods & soft drinks...if you want a harder beverage, you'll need to bring your own!
& apparently there are bbqs...but i haven't even looked at them yet (maybe hold off on the 'cooking required' foods!)need to bring - smile! friends! picnic blanket or chair to sit on! fire toys! nonfire toys! drums!
but umm...yeah, if it rains, it's off! cos there's no shelter at all!
