erm, how about I learn how to ride it on saturday, then teach you on Sunday?!

I can do about 5 or 6 ft every 3rd time at the moment, with any luck I'll be better by the end of the weekend smile

(Assuming you have paid for your train to kings cross) get a travel card for the zones you will be traveling in on sat, then a single on sunday.

You can use a day travel card for the tube and the buses smile

Any beds going on Saturday night?

I have no idea if I'll make it down, but I'd need somewhere to crash, and I'm guessing the IDC is over subscribed smile
