Passing the cookies and Christmas drink recipes along

Rum Coffee / Irish Coffee

- Put one teasp. of sugar into a glass (Irish coffee / large wine glass).

- Leave the spoon in the glass, fill the glass with strong coffee to within an inch of the brim(filtered / cafeterie far better than instant)

- Add a good lash of whiskey (Irish coffee) or rum

- Float lighty whipped cream on top of the coffee
(if you want to cheat you can use can-cream to make vienna style coffee)

- Sprinkle about half a teasp. of cinnamon on top of the cream and some grated chocolate

Drink at half hourly intervals

Office party tonight! Tis the season to blotto

So hopefully after a few this won't be me!

A Communist Christmas

1oz kahlua
2oz vodka
4oz eggnog

This is a variation on a white russian substituting the milk with egg nog. The Kahlua and vodka remain the same, though you may want to add more to ease the stress of dealing with family and lack of money. It also goes well with some spiced rum in, which brings me to my favorite holiday time drink:

Mumbai Pirate

Two parts spiced rum
Three and a half parts hot chai.

I could live off of this stuff forever. It is quite possibly the most perfect drink ever conceived.

Nice topic

Hot chocolate (made with hot milk and good chocolate powder - not cocoa)

Add good brandy/baileys/tipple of choice

Drink

Add whipped cream/marshmallows/chocolate sprinkles according to taste

Repeat as necessary

ooh and now you mention that I tried a mint chocolate liqueur earlier this year - it was lovely - tasted like after eights. Also.. and this is a weird one - ever tried tia maria and orange juice. Sounds yuk but tastes like terrys chocolate orange.

Frost - 0-10 marks for effort! Sickpuppy & Sunbeam thanks for the new recipes.

For a mint choc shot - mix 2 parts baileys with one part creme de menthe - ta da, choc shots

Tia maria & orange will try it over the chrimbo and give my verdict!

yay! i'm not

i thought this too but my mates (all my uni ones) told me it tasted like sh*t and i haven't tried it since i was very drunk at the time and was in no state to start arguing about taste

now i know it wasn't me going out of my mind, it was they who had closed minds... cheers sunbeam - will get that one back out next week
