Thats right, someone mentioned the X-men in the "madonna act your age" thread. And it got me thinking... If you were a mutant, and were part of the X-men, what would your ability be?
I'm gonna start with the ability to move at phenomanl speeds, so I could run up and wedgie my opponents without them realising.
Oh and I must admit, I havent searched
so I hope something like this hasn't been done already

Telekinetic would be cool...then i'd be able to spin without hitting myself! or do double-tripple-quadripple poi/staff at the same time...and be the master of twirling...that being said pyro's power would come in handy for a twirler as well....

But if not, then telepathy. Although it would be a tempting one to abuse.

The ability to tell if some one lies would be good.

Oooo I always wanted to be a bit like Storm.... with added telepathy.... How sad am I.... I've a feeling that somewhere in the depths of my memories there's even a character and a name and an outfit.... But please give me a break I was like 9!

I wouldnt mind wolverine's powers, those knives coming out the knuckles look dangerously awesome, and healing powers are a bonus. I could speed my little vw beetle down the highway, cause a major accident (like in burnout) and come out unharmed. Yeah!

I myself have always fancied Telekinesis. Telepathy would just depress me...
Being British, Storm's weather manipulation would be VERY handy...

I thought about saying Wolverine as well, then realised I'd never have to pay public transport again if I could fly!
And can you imagine walking through the metal detectors at airports as Wolverine? How do you explain that?

right i have re thought about it again (i know i keep changing) my final say is the power id love most in the world has to be wolverines (i know everyone has said it) because i could be a chief and if i cut myself wouldnt have to worry

ooo I love superpower questions. I'd go for either phasing (like Kitty, the ability to pass one's body through solid objects or vice versa) or some kind of energy blast. From the hands though, not like Cyclops.
