here is a good way to get you through the winter...

it will let you practise 'spinning' without breaking stuff in your house like lampshades, television sets, that ming vase you got from your grandmother, etc.. pentrix, the webpage

edit: ok, ok, I changed the title...

"spinning inside without breaking stuff" misled a couple of people, but I basically wanted you all to know about pen-spinning and see if we could develop a new cult around it, invent new moves, or hey!, maybe even make it that big that it will need it's own section in the HoP board wink

Hmm... I think the Title of this thread needs rethinking... smile

I understand it as a thread about 'Pentrix'.

Not a thread about stuff you've broken. I'm sure there are other threads about breaking stuff whilst spinning...

But yes, Pentrix with a Devilstick handstick = Flourishes wink They're fun!

I've tried doing tricks with a normal pen, and it just feels too light... I wonder what those Tiny little Staffs from tePOOKa would be like for pentrix? Anyone got one? Rob?

That is really fun, i`ve been doing it over a year now ubblove
You can do more tricks with a stick for devil/flower stick than with a pen, and it looks cooler cool

Theres already a thread for what stuff you have broken whilst spinning.
Theres already a thread for Pentrix too. smile I started it.

All of this information is irrelevant though; "Anyone got one?" - Yes, monkey and I have one. Its like a pen. With wicks on. Apart from that, they are exactly the same (made of atoms).

you've got to be kidding! most glowstickers here i know start with long strings and can't practice indoors ever. shortstringing is even faster and less controlled - not ideal for newbs.

maybe you meant "glowstick staff". ubblol

Yes. The computer told you to search only one forum at a time. Maybe next time you should do that.

It even said "Hint". It was being condesending.

It said the same thing to me, so I did what it told me and it worked. Surprise.

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;

We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

Did this during my music exam. I actually wanted to pass the rest, so I actually worked. Paid off as well biggrin

Pentricks in class are good. 'specially if you have a paticularly boring english lit teacher with a monotonous voice. *sigh*
