Posted:No, not the song...;-) though I love that song ( by the Tea Party)

Just wondering if anyone out there has experieince with this practice. A Psychopomp is the one who helps with the transition of the dead( very simple explanation) The role is described within many cultural and spiritual traditions. Probably I am most interested in descriptions of the ritual/practice/ ; both meaning and method, within the shamanic tradition.

I was wondering if anyone has researched this, or perhaps has been called to play that role, and if so how? Any books you can recommend on the subject? I have looked ove the internet, just wanting to know more personal connections and stories.

Thanks for any input...
Andrea
