Good morning,

i would like to share something with you guys, London tube stations are being adorned with lush art work at the moment.

Such as Glouster Road wich has been done by Beatriz Milhazes, who has other commisions like the canteen in the Tate modern gallery.

These artworks are totaly amazing just to stand and watch peopleinteract with, watch some people just walk past, or some stop for a few seconds or for a while,

i thought i would share this with all of you as it just really nice, if you are going to, or live in london, please go and see them, they are pretty much free exibits, as long as they are on your route, some are inside the ticket bariers, some are not.

i have two expamples of the glouster road stuff in my gallery

example 001

example 002

PLease go have a look smile

Very pretty. Gloucester Road usually has something cool being exhibited whenever i pop through. Tis a funky station.

erm, but i'm not so sure i like the practice of taking pics of other peoples art then putting your graphic design companys logo on them. That could be a little misleading.

There is no way London tube stations will ever be pretty - x, they might be pretty compared to each other, or to a hippo having its tooth pulled out, but not pretty like a geranium pretty.......

Yeah I used it for 6 months before I left the country, but then compare that to a new born baby......that's a misleading angle anyway, it's crappy when you get to the top, it's pretty crappy on the line itself (despite being part of the groovy new (less than 400 years old) jubilee line), the guards are miserable and dirty, the street it opens onto is a building site, and when I used it, it was always rammed with to**ers.......

Swings and roundabouts - x

Ahhh so pessimistic Cam! Might as well appreciate what little there is to appreciate wink

Obviously not pretty compared to, say, sunsets on Ko Chang...

but give it 10 days and you'll be looking for every little bit of prettiness you can!!
