Sorry, you said you looked on google,

I finally think of a 'special' present that mum can buy me for my 18th that isnt an Xbox 360, but no. No they can't sell me any until they have all the new ones.
An old pair would have done fine! frown

They'll still make up proballs for you. Get a couple of them and put them in some white socks. They are much better than aerotech poi anyway. I have a set, I think Cole does too - In fact there were quite a few sets knocking about at play.

heres a couple of pics of mine from play...

The only other option is waiting for the new meteors. (you may have to sell your soul to be able to afford those though)

Ooo they're pretty.

Thanks!

I spun chutneys tech poi last year at play, and although they were very nice indeed, they didn't have a nice spin to them.

Socks with balls sound nicer.

So I'm guessing if I just contact them, they will sort something out for me?

you can still order them from the site here https://www.globall.com/?articleID=5918&heading=Juggling%20Equipment

When I ordered mine they rang to say that the yellow LED's are not as bright as some of the others. Another interesting fact is that blue LED's dont show up on digital cameras as well as other colours due to the wavelength of the light (the same reason that blue lasers are rubbish).

I'd say make sure that one of the colours for each ball is white as it makes them look uber cool 8)

Other than that have a look through the available colours - there are 2 pages of them on the site.
I think it took them about a week to make and deliver mine smile

Great help, thanks!
I actually really like the red/green/white combo you have there..

An you're right the white does make it look uber cool!

Shall speak to Mum and see what she thinks. What is this deal with 'special' presents for 18th birthday anyways.. rolleyes

Two proballs are certainly cheaper than an Xbox! I hate people spending lots of money on me..

Am also wondering how the hell I havn't met you yet.. confused ubblol

Thats ok smile

I've only really met people from HoP this year. I spent most of Play either very hung over or very drunk so was a bit lame at meeting people. redface

I've been meeting a lot of people recently but forgetting to tell them my name or getting theirs. Shefcon is a perfect example. rolleyes

I'm sure I'll meet everyone soon enough though biggrin

Just a quick note- 1 my aerotech 'poi' are actually areotech glo meteors- they sort of made the poi for a while (I know someone who bought some) but never quite got them sorted- they'll probably reappear in ultimate flavour at some point.

The meteors are a bit long and heavy, but i've found through some experimentation that you can make them spin a lot more nicely with different handle and bodies- I'm using partial socks with balls in the ends as handles and they feel pretty darned nice now (for heavy old aerotech meteors anyway) smile
