I've been seeing a few people referring to planes by numbers and I have no idea what they meanconfused. I know about wall planes like where you do butterflies and all that, and side planes where weavy stuff usually goes on, but that's about it. So what other ones are there, and what do the numbers mean?
Cheers all,
Tom

Will those capable of telekinesis please raise my hand?

They're the numbers that you have to put into the computer in the hatch every 108 minutes to stop another 'incident' from taking place. The numbers are 4 8 15 16 23 42. wink

Sorry that was a little Lost thing. offtopic

Apart from front and back wallplane (where butterflys are) and wheelplane (weaves) there are:

Floor and ceiling plane - above and below you parallel to the floor)
Buzzsaw - if you stick your arms straight out its the space between them)
Inside - the space inbetween your arms and your body although i might be wrong about that
Hyperloop - i think hyperloops are in a plane of their own but i might also be wrong about that too

I haven't seen planes referred to as numbers although its possible that i might have missed those threads.

Hope this helps

that lost comment better not be true mr ofs or i am going to be mighty pissed... umm

as for the numbers, ignore them - there is no set notation for planes using numbers.

if you have seen a system anywhere, it probably only makes sense to one or two people and even then, the systems tend to require lots of other information before they even start to make sense.

All I have to say about the Lost connection is "wait and find out", it might be true but then it might not. I'm not telling tongue. I'm currently downloading season 2 from iTunes (thanks to an american uncle) and its much better than the first season!

Isn't it like season 7 out here or something?

I'm gonna wait til it's over to decide if it sucks or not. Then watch it all from the start. smile

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

are spoilers like trailers?

or are you referring to the things on the boots (/trunks) of cars that help them stick to the ground when they go real fast?

those that know, dont say. those that say, dont know.

Spoilers are bits of information that reveal something about the next episode or series before the series/episode has aired so they are similar to trailers only they have more vital information in them.

and shen shui, most of the time the "boy racer" types have their spoilers set so that they create more drag than downforce thus making the car travel slower.

bizarre.

thanks, OFS.

i heard that you need to drive rather fast to actually benefit from having a spoiler...

why would they want to drive slower?

*agrees with mint-sauce*

and spoilers increase drag, and down force, so that while you may have a lower straight line speed you have much greater traction which means you can go round corners much faster.

thats the trouble with hippies, they know [censored] all about cars :P
