OMG that looks like so much fun. I lived in St Kilda for a little while last year and those pics just make me wanna jump on a plane RIGHT NOW!!!

it's always with a hint of sadness when i hear from expatriates who react with homesickness.
I guess the thing to remember is to be compassionat to yourself and to enjoy yourself no matter if the trains dwon your neck of the woods point to edinburgh or melbourne!

I'm up for it, having a night off work and no other plans. I'll endeavour to keep cool throughout today so I don't lose my motivation, and post again at 6.30-7ish or so if I'm still going.
Edit: I'm pretty sure it's a total fire ban today actually, so there goes that idea.

Phew it does sound like you southerners are having a hellhot heatwave! FUnny eh up here in Bris is quite 'cool' this year, overcast a lot and a bit of rain to keeep the temps down around 30. Mmmmm. Fancy a visit North, Oh spinny ones?

you know though I can sometimes enjoy power out times..people seem to notice they have neighbours again. and realise oh man I have to do somethign other than sit in front of a screen but then their yogurt goes off and thats not so great for brekky so yeh..markets are great go to them
