Good Luck! I'm certain you will pass. The RTA are sneaky bastards; they ensure you fail your first test because it raises more revenue for them. So, they've already got your $40.... now they'll charge you $80 just to pass the test!

i failed my first test cos i didn't stop at the stop sign at the exit of the parking lot for the RTA. Cheeky buggers! I had failed the test before I even really started. And yes, I cried :/

Best advice to you: make it the most boring ride ever. Pretend you're in a Volvo

Let us know how you do! Ahhh, the freedom of a licence to drive!

Hey babe,

I went for my license three times. The first time I don't believe I should have failed. I moved lanes in what was a perfectly reasonable move, enough time, the car behind didn't have to break or slow. But because I had not taken another gap in the traffic with a similar distance, a moment before, the examiner said there was not enough space and failed me (and yes, that was her reasoning ).

The second time I agreed with the decision of the examiner to fail me. I was so petrified about stuffing up from my first experience that I drove really badly.

The third time, I passed!!!

Point of the story, once the whole ordeal is over with it never really matters again. I mean I didn't even have to reverse parallel park for three years after I took my test.

I have issues about testing. I honestly don't see the proof that they produce results. Most people learn what they must to pass and then forget most of it that same day. Is it really worth it?

Standardized tests are worthless I feel. Like here in America the SAT/ACT are so innacuate in measuring ability. Its sad to think that one's intelligence can be limited to math and verbal skills.

A shame, truly a shame.
