hi, do you know about a poi twirling federation or another federation which develops poi twirling officially in a country or there are simply poi twirling communities. thank you very much in advance for any information you have:) ubbrollsmile

There is no official bodies or federations or such, there are just groups of friends... biggrin

take a look at these videos.:) what do you think about them?
to FIREPOISE: i think that baton and poi twirlers have a lot in in common and that twirling poi helps improving baton techniques and baton twirling improves poi skills.

Yeah, saw the videos. I liked them. Was unsure of the blue helmet thou. Why was that always there?

I can't comment on the poi ones, cos my monitor is too dark to show up the details.

I would be interested in learning some more stuff about baton twirling thou... I have lots of questions... biggrin

to MCPI always use a helmet when i'm twirling, i twirl very fast and my batons are heavy. Years ago i had a trauma on my had due to an accident and i prefer not to hit it again (it could be fatal). I think that using a helmet doesn't make the skills better or worse:)
Poi videos are not something special, because the videos are just a demo:)
