Disregard my earlier post. Not only did I just have to dig myself out of my house with a snowshovel, but I think every public school from in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvaia AND New York State is closed today....
Snowed 8 additional inches here last night, 12" fifteen miles away, and more than that in the south (Ann Arbor, etc..) where my housemate works.
I figured he'd tell me if something slightly interesting had happened, like a bad storm (it still wans't snowing when i went to sleep last night) but apparently, he being Californian, took it all in stride. And he still like Michigan... and a WEIRDO.
Yeah, my mum called at half two to make sure I'd shovel the walk to the upstairs, and I was all like ... "did it snow more or something?"
yeah... I win for not being observant!

NYC, I hate you.
You get weekends, holidays, and summer off.
And snow days.
For me, when it snows cats and dogs, the patients still are sick...
...and still need a doctor.
Hmmm... maybe I should teach HS Biology.

Well that could be a good thing. Sometimes the cold is too much. The first day of snow is always fun.... snow AGAIN every few days for the next 3 months later is brutal.

I did a bit of shopping. I finished everyone I needed to OUTSIDE the US... now I need to START shopping for Americans. Like my family.
I slept late.
I wandered around the hood trying not to slip.
I made some home improvements.
I kinda went to sleep early.

Shovel Snow?!! Are you 
? I live in an apartment and it is their responsibility to have the walks and driveway shoveled. Any way, my parking spot is right in front of my place, once I get into my truck all I have to do is kick in my four-wheel-drive. Who needs to shovel? And if there is so much snow that I have to dig out the truck, I'm not going anywhere. Work doesn't pay me enough in a day to cover my insurance deductable. I would be staying home! Growing old is mandatory; growing up is NOT.

Lucky dog. I myself didn't have to go to work altho i did shovel loads of driveway and pavement. But my housemate shoveled out his car and the rst of the drive, and he doesn't relaly make enough either...
And my mum, thankfully, had the truck, as 12 inches and the car just wouldn't haev worked...
