Hello, I'm not shure were this belong but I post here..

I will have a performance at my school with poi and I dont have any music that is "appropriate". So if anyone have some trance songs or other good stuff can you tell me the name of the song, group..

This is kind of urgent so any fast replies would be appriciated.

Da Funk: Daft Punk is very good, and alot of Goldfrapps songs would be great to spin too, from there Albums 'Black Cherry' and 'Supernature', 'Felt Mountain' however is more jazzy so you prob wont have much luck from that.

Best from Black Cherry are Strict Machine (also see Beni Binassi's remix) and Twist. From Supernature its allmost all good especialy Lovley to See You, and Ooh La La.

Also see Nightwish who have sooo many albums lol, the only I know of myself is there album 'Ocean Born'. These all have strong beats, and are quite repetative (and simple) lyricaly, and arnt (at least I dont think) too wordy.

Plus you know go into the dance charts and take a look around for help.

Anyone who listens to drum and bass or bought the Mixmag with John B's 'Trance and Bass' mix CD on the cover will know Concord Dawn.
My favorite track has to be either 'morning light' (which is absolutely amazing) or 'raining blood'. One of my aims for the new year is to get my ass down to Fabric in London when the Dawn are over here.

If you like that kind of dnb then check out 'Cyantific Vs Logistics - Flashback' or most other Logistics stuff to be honest.
biggrin

P.S. - Pendulum are from your side of the globe too I think.

Another Petrucci fan. I've been raving about that song for ages. Its 6 minutes 35 of sheer guitar genius. Its probably my favourite song to spin to.

Having faith in people is overrated. Most of the time they're a pain in the ass. Its the few times that humanity is nice to you that I find surprising.

but its better to have faith and gve people the benifit of the doubt, so even if you were wrong you come off as the better person in the end, and if they do pleasently surprise you everyones happy

yeah but people tend to walk all over you if you do. Most of the people I know understand why I don't but sorry, I'm a little cynical about the majority of people in general.
