hey i had a virus this week and now i cannot login to anything (my msn and hop account)

For your HoP password, just fill out the "I've forgotten my password" form.
Sorted. Maybe.
MSN will be a little tougher.
You'll need the resident HoP techies for that one

Are you SURE the virus has gone? If not (or do it anyway anyway) read the Adware and Spyware thread below and follow the advice given. There is a remote chance that the passwords have been stolen, and changed, but i doubt that someone is writing viruses that target HoP!

don't know 'bout the Hop prob but had that a while ago on msn. some F@*! idiot had stuffed my password. Had to go back into the original hotmail a/c and reset the whole thing. Needless to say, upgraded my security on the comp after that. Hop eyou got it sorted ok
